I made a promise 15 years ago: I would never shoot film again. I have started shooting digital, it was a brave new world. I had shoot several point & shoot cameras in the past, and I hated the experience. 5 years after, I re-discovered the reflex from my family, and I re-opened that pandora box. I made another promise: I would never shoot plastic cameras again. And here I am today, writing a post about point & shoot cameras.
I have one confession to make: I got sick of carrying a heavy camera with me all day. By chance, I got my hands on a Canon Prima and it ended being a great camera. I can carry it everywhere. As your phone, you say. Yes, but the experience and the colors are not the same.
And you know what else? The way people behave around you. When you take out your phone, it's another random photo. When you take out your reflex, it becomes too serious. With a compact camera, you are just a nerd playing with some old stuff.
I have plenty of goofy shots of my friends and coworker that I will share as soon as I get their permission O:) Meanwhile, enjoy this random photos!
