We made our first month here! I want to thank you all for your support, especially to my subscribers. It means the world.
Setting up this website took more time that I expected. We always underestimate. So I wanted to take the chance to share with us my learnings.
Now that everything is up and running, it takes me around 1 hour to curate and write every post you see here. It may not seem a lot, but if you start adding them up, it becomes a lot of work during the month. I published 18 posts this month, so I need to be more efficient: it eats a big chunk of my time.
I spent part of this first month working on SEO. That's the reason you see many of my posts start with the name of the model and the name of the session. I am aware it may seem a catalog of models, and it is not ideal, but I need that so this website is more reachable via Google. Next month I will spend some time learning how I can optimize it.
Metrics are also important. I am sharing some numbers here, under the premium tier.
The last thing I need to rework is my publishing schedule. I've been posting all content types on Mondays and Fridays, but I haven't seen a difference in conversion. This is likely because my audience is still small and highly engaged. I am considering publishing the premium content on Mondays or Tuesdays and the open posts on Fridays.
